​“I will call it Lisbon” comes from observing the city of Lisbon. Which colour does your city have if you had to scale it to one color? What does this colour represent, and where does it come from? What significance does it have? Does it change with time, or is it perennial?
Lisbon’s colour can be terracotta or red. Observing the city from above, from a plane, or from the 25th of April Bridge, the terracotta roofs still prevail among the new constructions. The colorful façades blend in a myriad of pink and red hues, corten steel, and washed-out walls. A colourful intricate slowly changing with time and light. So does “I will call it Lisbon.”
